How to Convert a photo to line art in Photoshop

Have a photograph that you'd like to turn into a drawing? Well, how about some line art? This video will quickly show you how to transform a normal picture into a cool line art image in Photoshop. Just open up our selected photo in Photoshop, create a duplicate layer, then go to Image > Adjustments > Desaturate. This will turn your image into black and white.
Next, go to Filter > Stylize > Fine Edges and you've got a pencil drawing effect. Now, go back to Image > Adjustments and choose Brightness/Contrast. Adjust the Brightness to 20 and Contrast to 87, then go to Filter > Sharpen > Sharpen More. And now you have your line art! You can adjust the opacity of the duplicate layer to create a rotoscoping effect (only they aren't moving images).
